  • York Region approached us to assist in aligning a fragmented brand image into a consistent and cohesive style that would express their vision for tomorrow.

    The complexity of a municipal organization came into play and we needed to achieve a deeper understanding of how the organization worked. We began the process with a series of discovery sessions. We walked away with a better understanding of where change is welcome and where established systems need to remain.

    This lead us down a creative journey that required a solution that resolved the existing issues without introducing any new ones.

    The result was a dynamic Brand Identity System that incorporated the existing York Region logo and other assets and brand components, while introducing a new look. The final outcome is fresh and lively and uses shape and colour to bring each piece of collateral to life in a unique new way.

    The dynamic Brand System allows the various in-house creative teams to bring their own personality to each piece they create without sacrificing the recognition of the York Region brand.
